What is the job?
You will be performing week-long paintball instruction to youth ages ranging from 10-18 years old.
Where will I be going?
The military give us locations based on requested camps. Camps are held at military bases thru the USA.. we try to team you up with another person and assign you a central location such as East Coast, West or central USA.
What is the pay?
Normal pay is $550 each week. If you are a repeat instructor, coming back again from previous year pay will increase to $650 each week. Bonus is given at the end of a successful season pending performance review.
What is provided?
Paintball jerseys (2), Professional paintball mask (1) (all items yours to keep ! All transportation to and from training, all transportation to and from start and end of season. All transportation during season while performing work, and all lodging.
Will I get any time off?
Yes, You will get time off during the weekend, it has been a trend that due to the heat at some locations you will only work 4-5 hrs each day (during the week) in the morning. If there are no camps being performs, such as a week period between locations, you will get paid with lodging during those times and we encourage you to explore and enjoy the area on your own. During those times off, you will need to rent a vehicle or use local transportation.
Is there Training?
Yes, Training will be completed prior to departure for the job. All hired and a few extra instructors will attend a training camp in Idaho for one week. During training camp we will go over everything you will need to know while performing the summer camps. It is our intention to give as much "hands on" training on all issues that you may encounter while on tour. Camps will also include a few days actually setting up the field and performing camps with youth from the local Air Base, this will simulate approx. what you will be doing. During training camp we will also see if you are the best fit for the job and may or may not be excused during the camp.
